Hey, Virgil.

For the past 15 years, I've lived what I call the "Batman vs Bruce Wayne" life.

On the one hand, there's Bruce Wayne—what you generally see on here. Regardless of title (consultant, fractional, UX strategist, product lead, etc), I followed a north star toward the type of work I do best—walk into a situation nobody's fully figured out, build something from scratch that fixes what's broken between teams, customers and systems. Leave everything and everyone better than when I first came in. YAY!

On the other hand, there's the Batman stuff—poetry, art, off-the-wall thinking, and all kinds of creativity happening across all kinds of mediums. If you know anything about me, then you know that's the engine that supercharges the Bruce Wayne results.

But over the last few years, it's been tougher to find that equilibrium. So I'm going to create the experience I need for myself.

For the next few months, I'm going to do what I love most: build cool, creative things in cool, creative ways that fire my imagination AND hopefully yours.

It's going to be squiggly and uncertain. But I have ambitious plans; I always do. I want to build in real-time. I want to capture the process and progress in all its multilayered glory. I want to actively break templates and meander off the beaten path—whatever that means. I want to learn and grow and hone my craft!

The whole thing just really excites me. I have no idea what's going to happen. Isn't that cool?

More on that soon.
